Extension and transformation of a house

The railway house, originally constructed in the beginning of the twenty’s century was extended for the first time in the 1950’s. This second extension, in 2010, helps integrate the 1950’s extension and revives the original volume. The proximity of the train tracks informed the project’s orientation as well as it’s materiality and the chosen construction method.
