Parallel study mandate for the redevelopment of the RC T9
Our objective is to plan the T9 cantonal road by developing quality public spaces in terms of uses and landscapes, while respecting the accessibility of the different modes of transport. Future developments will help to reduce the traffic speed, which is limited to 50 km/h. A multi-purpose strip is located in the centre of the roadway. Its main function is to secure the axis and provide easy access for residents. The width of the traffic lanes is adapted to a mix of traffic modes. This configuration without road marking of the cycle lanes has the effect of calming traffic while improving both noise pollution and road safety. Only a cycle lane can be identified at the Lienne level, offering better comfort to cyclists on a steeply sloping section.
