Project competition for the development and densification of the Ehanoun site in Crans-Montana

The beautiful site of the Ehanoun hosts the first urban alpine garden. The dense and thorny forested hills brings a marvelous character to the promenade of the Centième. The hill, the forest and the creek make up the natural components of this new alpine garden. The developed themes are the under-wood flora, the wetland flora and the fields flora. The creek becomes a pond hosting the wetland flora, even a beautiful alpine rhododendron blooms in the marsh. Far away from the housing, but visible on every side, children play equipment has been installed that benefits from the calm and the natural topography of the forest. The buildings lay on a rich field covered with alpine flowers. Large rocks mark the way offering the small guests a chance to play and the big guests a moment to take a rest.
